EXTREME is a general-purpose luminaire suitable for indoor and outdoor use thanks to its technical characteristics. The waterproof housing is made of high-strength gray polycarbonate (PC). The optical assembly consists of an opal polycarbonate diffuser as a housing cover. Thanks to this optical system combined with LED tubes or LED diodes as the light source, it provides high-quality illumination with a wide light distribution angle and excellent color reproduction. An advantage of this luminaire is the use of an aluminum heatsink for the LEDs, ensuring efficient cooling, long life and minimal luminous flux depreciation over time. The light source is high-power diodes mounted on strip PCB boards. Mounting is quick and simple: surface-mounted directly on ceiling or wall, or with cable suspension. With very high water and impact resistance, the luminaire is designed for extreme and harsh operating conditions and is often used for outdoor lighting. In extreme conditions (very high temperatures) to protect the diodes and power supply from overheating, an NTC automatic current reduction protection system is integrated.
